We wrote a story inspired by Laura Numeroff. It's called "If You Give a Bird a Bagel". We drew pictures and Mrs. Stansel typed the words. We did Animal Lines. We drew animals with lines on them. BR

In Use your Head with Bread, we had to follow the directions. We wrote a book. We drew the pictures and Mrs. Stansel typed up the words.TS

In Use Your Head with Bread we put our name on our paper and put the bread in the middle of the paper and we listened to questions and wrote our answers and ate our bread. It was super fun. The bread was yummy. In Animal Lines we had to draw animals with lines. I drew a horse, a turtle and a fish. They big with bunches of lines. Now we are making funny writing on a white board. SG

Our Mural City mural

September 23 Blog

In Cracker Quiz, we had to listen and follow directions and at the end we made a word.  At the end we got to eat the crackers. Look at a Book we had to look for things in the book like the table of contents. In the rainforest video I saw a snake and I like snakes. We made a big mural of downtown Jacksonville. We added lots and lots of birds. We added to mural city two houses. In Amazing Odors we smelled lots of other things we even smelled mint and I like mint. TS
In Everything Begins with T we had to guess answers of the questions that were on our paper and they had to begin with T. In Amazing Odors we had to smell pads and some if they smelled the same we wrote the number dolphin it was on our paper and what we thought the smell was. Mural City we had to draw a big city. We drew downtown. We drew lots of funny birds dropping worms and fish and we did the Jaguars stadium and I did it on a big piece of paper with my friends. In the Rainforest video the voice on the screen told us all about the rainforest. I saw a bunch of insects and a snake. In Word Ball we had to look at somebody and pretend we were throwing a ball to them and we said a word and they had to use a word that was like that word and then they tossed it to someone else. We had Alphabits and we put them in alphabetical order at the end we got to eat them. They tasted like Cheerios accept sweeter. SG

In Mural City we drew a bunch of stuff in downtown Jacksonville including MOSH. We had a great time coloring. It was a bunch of birds in the picture. I don’t know why we did that. Word Ball there was a pretend ball and you threw it to each other and said a word and the friend who we threw it to said a word that sort of meant the same thing. BR

Pictures of Crayon Resist Work

We all wore pink today!

September 16th Blog

In Crayon Resist we drew a bunch of flowers. We drew with crayons then we painted over them. The crayons were still seen because the paint came right off of the crayons. In A-Zoo we put animals in alphabetical order and then we drew the animals in cages. In Screamer we closed our eyes we thought about who we were going to look at. If the person that you are looking at is looking at you you scream and fall on the ground. SG

In Screamer when the person that was looking at you is and you are looking at the person, you have to scream and die. In A-Zoo we put the animals in alphabetical order and put the animals in cages. In Touch and Tell we felt things and described what they felt like. TS

Our September 9th Blog

We made Scribble Animals! We learned about about lines. We drew a picture with a bunch of lines on the board. In 12 Circles we to make it into anything it says on the list. Everything Begins with B you had to write in the answer and all answers begin with B. I liked it. In Lollipop Logic is something we have to put things in order or put things alike. That's what we did today! BSR

Scribble Animals I did lots of animals. There were animals on a piece of paper that were all the same like my dog picture. Categories we had to see who had the same thing on like the same shoes. 12 Circles we had to follow the list that said we had to draw something in the circle and we had to draw it on the circle it says. Special Scene we had to cut out all the little strips of paper and put then in alphabetical order and glue them on. Mapping Our Classroom we had to draw a map of our classroom. We learned where everything is in our classroom. Lollipop Logic we had to put the objects in order or match the picture that was in the beginning. TJS

Mapping Our Classroom we learned how to make a map and it told where everything in our classroom was. Special Scene we had to the alphabet on the bottom of strips of paper and we had glue them on a piece of paper in order and when we were done it made a picture of a boat. Lollipop Logic we had to write numbers in order of the pictures. In Categories we walked around the room and we had to get in categories. It was fun! SJG

Our Scribble Faces

September 2nd

We did scribble faces. They were fun. I drew a picture of myself. A is for Crunch we had to guess what the letter was. I liked Mystery Bags because other people have to guess what it was in the bag. I liked the part of All Answers Begin with A when we had to draw and awkward animal. Vocal Enviroment we had to guess where it was and what sounds that place made. TS

When we did scribble faces we used lines.SG

We played Action Reaction. We do something and you tell not what you are doing and you tell something else. We hung up our Scribble Faces on the big magnet board with other little magnets. In A is for Crunch, I liked Z is for yucky because zucchini is yucky! Lollipop Logic was fun. we do fun things in gifted. I think the aunt in an apron looking at ants from All Answers Begin with A was funny. BR
